JOC DISCUSSES SPORTING TIES WITH AUSTRALIA

Leading officials from the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) have met with a delegation from the Australian Embassy, led by Ambassador His Excellency Miles Armitage.

The meeting was held at the impressive Olympic Preparation Centre where HRH Princess Zeina Al Rashed, Director of the Olympic Preparation Programme, welcomed the Ambassador along with JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and JOC Educational Department Manager, Sawsan Qadomi.

Mr. Armitage expressed his willingness to cooperate with the JOC as part of his embassy’s strategy to play a more prominent role in the local community.

The ambassador toured the Olympic Preparation Centre and admitted to being impressed with the facilities and services now available for Jordanian athletes.
