LADIES WIN TOKYO 2020 OPENER

Jordan have launched their bid to reach the women’s football finals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics by beating The Maldives 6-0, in the match held in Palestine.

Next Up is the host nation on Sunday before a final match against Indonesia next Tuesday in Group C.

Only the winners from each of the five groups will go to the second round of the qualifications, as well as the best two second placed teams.
