NINE JORDAN MEDALS AT INVICTUS GAMES

Jordan have returned from the Invictus Games in Sydney, Australia, with nine medals, including five golds.
The event is organised for injured members of the Armed Forces, and is the brainchild of HRH Prince Harry, the second grandson of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth of England.
Jordan took a delegation under the presidency of HRH Prince Mired Bin Raad, President of Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers.
Amani Abdul Rahman led the way with two gold medals in the Rowing and 100m Wheelchair, while her teammate Ahmad Al Barahmeh also won two gold medals in the 72kg Powerlifting and the 100m Men’s Wheelchair. Eyad Al Mustarihi added a gold medal in the High Jump.
Three silvers were added by Udai Al Shatnawi in the Shot Pot and Hayel Al Mahakeem in the 100m and 200m, while Hayel added a bronze in the 400m.
