Oct 29, 2018
Jordan’s newly appointed Baskteball coach believes his team can step up their FIBA World Cup qualifying campaign against Group leaders, New Zealand, later this month.
Joey Stiebing, the former China national coach, will travel with his chargers to Turkey for an intensive training camp ahead of the crucial clash in New Zealand on November 29, followed by another important match in South Korea.
“My players are really eager to get back out on the court and play in these two massive matches,” said Stiebing.
Jordan are fourth with 13 points, trailing New Zeleand (15 points), Lebanon (14) and South Korea (14).
China are fifth on 12 with Syria bottom on 10 points. Only the top three will qualify to the World Cup that will be held in China next year.
