Oct 14, 2018
Jordan’s top two rising stars in the swimming pool are on their way back from the Youth Olympics with a wealth of big Games experience.
Mohammad Al Bedour and Amro Al Wir missed out on the finals in their events, but both swam superbly to show that they have plenty to come in the years ahead.
In his second race of the Games, Al Bedour missed out on the finals despite clocking 51.56 seconds in the 100m Freestyle, while Al Wir narrowly missed out on advancing in the 50m Breaststroke following a swim of 29.71 seconds.
Both qualified for the Youth Olympics by recording A times and will now be looking to shave some time off their personal bests with just two years to go until the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
