AL WIR MISSES OUT IN THE POOL

Jordan swimmer Amro Al Wir swam well in his 200m Breaststroke heat at the Youth Olympic Games, but it wasn’t enough to go through to the finals in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Al Wir, an eleventh hour call up to the team, finished fifth in his heat in a time of 2 minutes 20.65 seconds.
He will have another chance to impress on Thursday though when he goes in the 50m Breaststroke, while his teammate Mohammad Al Bdour will compete in the 100m Freestyle.
