ABU AWAD TAKES ASIAN SILVER

One of Jordan’s most decorated sports ambassadors has doen it again, winning a silver medal at the Asian Paralympic Games hosted in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Khetam Abu Awad settled for silver after losing her final to China’s Zhou Bn. Earlier she beat players from Chinese Taipei, China and Korea before moving to the semifinal where she beat another Chinese player.

Her teammates Fatin Alimat, Nidal Faraj and Osamah Abu Jame were defeated in the earlier rounds of their competitions.
