ARMOUTI, MUSTAFA LAUNCH JORDAN CAMPAIGN AT YOUTH OLYMPICS

Taekwondo’s Zaid Mustafa and Equestrian’s Sara Al Armouti will launch Jordan’s campaign on Monday at the Youth Olympic Games being held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Mustafa will compete in the -55kg category, meeting the winner of Spain’s Hugo Arilo and Cape Verde’s Alberta Fernandez in round two after receiving a bye. Victory will guarantee him a medal of at least bronze.

Head Coach, Faris Al Assaf, said the draw has been kind and he is confident that Mustafa is capable of going all the way Al Armouti begins her horse jumping campaign on the same day.
