HRH PRINCE FEISAL VISITS JORDAN DELEGATION AT YOUTH OLYMPICS

HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), has paid a visit to the Jordan delegation competing at the Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires this week.

The Prince congratulated the athletes on qualifying for the event in record numbers, with 13 confirmed to compete. He also praised the coaches for their support.

The delegates were also able to share their experiences with His Royal Highness in order to continue to improve the way they prepare for major international events.

HRH Prince Feisal explained that listening and learning from the athletes and coaches was an important part of the JOC’s National Sports Strategy launched two years ago in order to develop sport in Jordan.

The 13 athletes will be competing over the next 10 days in 3x3 Basketball, Karate, Taekwondo, Athletics, Swimming and Equestrian.
