SHERGO MAKES ASIAN CUT

Young Jordan golfer Shergo Al Kurdi has made the cut at the Asian Pacific Amateur Golf Championships being held in Singapore.

The 15-year-old shot a sizzling opening round of 69, but was pegged back with a second round 76 to just make the cut into the final two rounds on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, teammate Asad Al Rawashdeh missed the cut after opening rounds of 89 and 86.
