HAMMAD TO CARRY JORDAN FLAG AT OPENING CEREMONY

Karate star Abdullah Hammad will carry the Jordan flag at the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games that will get underway in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday.

The ceremony will be held in the Plaza De La Republica in the middle of Buenos Aires, the first time that an Olympic ceremony will be held in public.

Hammad is one of 12 Jordanians represented in South America, and he qualified after winning silver in his qualification competition held in Croatia.
