TEAM JORDAN ARRIVE IN BUENOS AIRES

The biggest Jordan delegation to have ever qualified to the Youth Olympic Games has arrived in Buenos Aires ready to begin their search for glory.
No less than 12 athletes have travelled to Argentina or the third edition of the Games which will get underway on Saturday and continue through to October 20.
The team inclues Taekwondo’s Zaid Mustafa, Natalie Al Humaidi and Rama Abu Al Rube, Karate’s Abdullah Hammad, Athletics’ Samer Jawhar and Abdullah Al Mulaifi, Swimming’s Mohammad Al Bdour, Equestrian’s Sara Al Armouti as well as the 3x3 Basketball team of Shaker Shubair, Omar Al Bukhari, Rayyan Jarad and Fahed Tarjali.
The players have checked in to the Athletes Village along with more than 4,000 athletes from 206 countries.
They have already conducted their first training sessions ahead of the Opening Ceremony which will be held in the Plaza De La Republica, which will be the first time the general public can watch an opening event.
Mustafa Will launches Jordan’s campaign on Monday in the -55kg weight, while Hammad joined the delegation following his training camp in Chile.
