JOC WELCOMES BRITISH AMBASSADOR

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has welcomed the British Ambassador in Amman, HE Edward Oakden, to the Olympic Preparations Centre (OPC).

He was hosted by JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and Educational Department Manager, Sawsan Qaddoumi, who provided a tour of the facility and introduced him to the Taekwondo team which included the recent and Asian Games medalists.

The meeting discussed ways that the JOC and the British could work together in the future in order to support Jordan sport.

Mr. Oakden praised the OPC’s facilities which are helping Jordan’s elite athletes to better prepare for international events.
