JUDOKA HEAD TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan are hoping that a promising showing at the World Judo Championship over the next week in Azerbaijan will earn vital ranking points as they aim to qualify fighters for the 2020 Olympic Games.

Jordan will send a strong team to Baku including Younis Salman, Baker Al Zaiadeen and Hadeel Al Alami alongside coaches, Mohammad Khalaf and Ahmad Al Btoush.

Zaiadeen will launch Jordan’s campaign on Sunday by meeting a player from Burundi.
