TAEKWONDO FIGHTERS MISS OUT AT GRAND PRIX

It was a disappointing day for three of Jordan’s top Taekwondo fighters at the third round of World Grand Prix being held in Chinese Taipei.

Juliana Al Sadeq lost in the second round to Lauren Williams, of Wales, despite an impressive opening win over Germany’s Vaneccia Cornadel in the 67kg competition.

Ahmad Abu Ghaush suffered a rare early defeat in his first fight against Brazil’s Adival Bontis in the 68kg weight, while Hamzeh Qattan lost his 80kg opener to Ivory Coast’s Sedo Gabani.
