Sep 12, 2018
World Cup Basketball returns to Jordan on Thursday night with the Nashama taking on South Korea in their first qualification match of the second phase.
A capacity crowd is expected at the Prince Hamzeh Hall in Al Hussein Youth City (6pm start) with Jordan hoping to continue the form that saw them win their regional group with five wins and just one defeat earlier this year.
Twelve teams have booked their places in this second qualification phase where Jordan will compete against Lebanon, Syria, China, South Korea and New Zealand.
Coach Sam Daghlas will be hoping for a win in front of the home fans before the team heads to China for a tough second match.
