JORDAN TO HOST ASIAN HANDBALL NEXT WEEK

The Jordan Handball Federation has declared that it is ready to host the 8th Asian Junior Handball Championships in Amman from September 16-26.
The draw has put Jordan in Group B along with Chinese Taipei and Syria, who they will launch their campaign against on the opening day.
Group A includes Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman and China, while Group C includes South Korea, Iraq and India. Japan, Qatar, UAE and Iran will compete in group D.
The top two from each group will go directly to the quarter-final that will begin on September 20.
The tournament’s top three will qualify to the World Cup that will be held in Macedonia next year.
Jordan will hold a warm-up match this week against Japan.
