A HERO’S WELCOME FOR SIMREEN

The Jordan Olympic Committee joined family and friends in providing a hero’s welcome for youngster Bader Simreen, after he won bronze at the World Youth Boxing Championships.

The youngster made history by becoming the first Jordanian to medal at the event in Hungary, and was welcomed home in style at Queen Alia International Airport.

“I’m so happy with this achievement, it is just the beginning,” said the 64kg fighter.
