OLYMPIAN WILL LAUNCH JORDAN BOXING CAMPAIGN SATURDAY

Obadeh Al Kesbeh will launch Jordan’s boxing campaign at the Asian Games on Saturday. The Olympic fighter, who won Asian Games bronze four years ago, will meet Bhupendra Thapa, from Nepal, in the 64kg category.

Ziad Ishaish has been handed a bye to the last 16 of the 69kg weight and will fight on Sunday, while Mohammad Al Wadi will meet Uzbekistan’s Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov in the last 16 of the 56kg competition on the same day.
