Aug 20, 2018
Jordan 3x3 Basketball will launch their campaign at the 18th Asian Games on Tuesday. They will meet Syria at 1.50pm Jordan time followed by Japan at 3pm.
The team will then finish their day against The Maldives at 4pm. On Friday, Jordan will complete their group action against Qatar and Nepal.
This is the first time that 3x3 has been held at the Asian Games, and the top two from the group will head through to the quarter finals.
Jordan have sent a young team with the players - Omar Al Bukhari, Rayan Jarad, Hanna Juha and Shaker Shubair - all aged either 17 or 18.
They are hoping to gain valuable big tournament experience ahead of the Youth Olympic Games that will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October.
