KARATE READY FOR ASIAN GAMES

Jordan’s Karate team will arrive at the Athletes Village on Monday knowing that they represent the Kingdom’s strongest chance for gold medals.

Asian gold medallists Bashar Al Najjar and Abdulrahman Al Masatfah are joined by Mahmoud Al Sajjan, Mutasim Khair, Fatimah Al Shawabkeh and Huda Jaber in Jakarta, and will fight under the supervision of Egyptian coach, Mohammad Othman.

As well as the two Asian champions, Al Masatfa took silver for Jordan in the last Asian Games in Incheon four years ago.
