BASKETBALL OUT OF ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan are out of the 28th FIBA Asian Basketball Championships after losing 80-76 to Lebanon in Henan, China.
It ended a tournament of mixed results for the Nashama who lost two first round games to China (67-87) and South Korea (60-87) before beating Singapore (98-68).
In the second round they started with victories over Qatar (84-73) and Kazakhstan (87\73) but the defeat to Lebanon ended their hopes of winning and also clinching a spot for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
