YOUTH AND SPORT COMMITTEE HONOUR ASIAN MEDALISTS

The Youth and Sport Committee from the House of Representatives has honoured the athletes who won medals in their sport at Asian level over the past month.

Six athletes from Karate and Jujitsu excelled on the continental stage, and met with the committee at the House of Representatives to be honoured in the presence of JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali. This comes as part of the committee’s support for Jordanian athletes and to encourage others to achieve.

The committee’s President, Deputy Mohammad Hdaib, pointed out that sport is one of the most important fields in Jordanian society and highlighted that the Kingdom’s athletes are winning more frequently now on the Asian level.
