BOXERS OFF TO A GOOD START IN UKRAINE

Jordan’s Boxers have enjoyed a great start to their competitive training camp in Ukraine with a pair of first round wins.

Hussein Ishaish is through to the last eight of the +91kg weight after beating Moldova’s Andre Zadiveski, while his teammate, Mohammad Al Wadi, qualified to the quarter-final of 56kg weight by beating Ukraine’s Ivan Solauio.

Obadah Al Kesbeh won his first fight, but suffered an injury so will have to withdraw and now faces a battle against time to be fit and ready for the Asian Games next month.
