WEST ASIAN ATHLETICS LAUNCH TOMORROW

The 3rd West Asian Athletics Championships will launch on Sunday at the Amman International Stadium.

The event will welcome over 300 athletes representing 10 countries including Bahrain, Iraq, Qatar, Yemen, Kuwait, UAE, Palestine, Lebanon, Oman and Jordan. Jordan Athletics Federation President, Saed Hiasat, said that preparations are over and they are looking forward to welcoming some of the best athletes from across the region.

“We are so happy to welcome them all here to Jordan where we have pulled out all the stops to make this a successful and enjoyable event,” he said.
