JORDAN KEEP OLYMPIC HOPES ALIVE

Following a tough start to the FIBA Asian Basketball Championships, Jordan have bounced back with a victory over Qatar.

Defeats to China and Korea weren’t the best start for Jordan but a superb 84-73 victory over Qatar showed they can still make an impact in Henan.

Next up is Kazakhstan at 4:30pm (Jordan time) on Monday and then Lebanon Tuesday at 11:45am. The winner of the tournament qualifies for Rio 2016 while second and third go into a world play-off group.
