CLUBS’ ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP UNDERWAY

Al Mattari Clubs Championship has been launched today in the Amman International Stadium.
The event has welcomed over 500 athletes from different clubs across the Jordan, with the aim of attracting more talent to the national team.
Aliya Bushnaq clinched gold in the women’s 100m in 12.41 seconds, followed by Masa Al Kash’ah in second and Zainah Bani Hani in third.
Yara Al Khateeb took the 100m hurdles followed by Menas Al Attar and Farah Habaual finished third.
The action continues with a number of finals on Saturday.
