KARATE FINISH SECOND AT CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan finished second at the West Asian Karate Championship held in the UAE, after winning three gold, six silver and 3 bronze medals.

The gold medals were won by Bashar Al Najjar (67kg), Eviline Al Da’daa (women 61kg) and Mu’tasim Khair (84kg).

The six silvers were won Hatim Al Dweek (75kg), Mahmoud Al Sajjan (84kg), Khalid Ismael (60kg), Raghad Al Muhtasim (women 55kg), Huda Jaber (women 68kg) and the women’s team.

Bronze medals were captured by Kamar Al Kurdi (Kata) and the women’s team (Kata) and the men’s team.
