Reigning champions Al Wehdat started the defence of their Al Manaseer Premier League title with a comfortable 3-1 win over league newcomers Asaleh at Amman Stadium.
There were also wins for Al Faisaly and Al Jazeera on week one with the game of the day seeing Al Rumtha draw 2-2 with Shabab Al Ordon.
