MAKING SPORT ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY

Jordan’s efforts to ensure sport has a positive impact on the environment have been stepped up following a meeting held at the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC).

The JOC’s Environment and Sport Committee has formulated a new plan which intends to make sport a positive contributor to the environment through a series of programmes and workshops involving universities, Ministry of Education as well as National Sport Federations and Clubs.

To raise awareness, a march will be held in the forest of Al Hussein Youth City on April 28, followed by a workshop about the importance of a healthy sporting environment.
