FAISALI THROUGH IN AFC CUP

Faisali are through to the semi-final of the West Asian section of the AFC Asian Cup following their 2-1 win over Syrian side, Wehdeh, in a match held in Lebanon.

Polish striker, Łukasz Gikiewicz, put them ahead in the 40th minute before Wehdeh levelled in the 78th minute through Sulaiman Sulaiman.

In extra time, Anas Jubarat scored the all-important Faisali winner to move his team out of the group stage.
