Apr 08, 2018
After three fighters qualified for the Youth Olympic Games over the past few days, Jordan’s young Taekwondo fighters are understandably buoyant as they go into the World Youth Championships this week in Tunisia.
After Natali Al Humaidi, Zeid Mustafa and Rama Abu Al Rub all qualified through to the Games being held in Buenos Aires in October, more fighters will be gunning for glory.
Mohammad Othman will meet Portugal’s Luis Miguel in the first round of the -54kg, while Rua Al Husami will play against Thailand’s Ilada Kumor in the -42kg and Raghad Al Khadra will meet Ecuador’s Milani Garcia in the -44kg.
