SECOND PHASE OF BASKETBALL CUP SET TO START

Jordan’s new look national Basketball League will launch phase two this week with eight teams advancing from the initial group stage.
Wehdat, Orthodox Club, Jazeera, Reyadi, Ahli, Jubaiha, Nojoom Ordon and Kuferyouba have all advanced with Jazeera meeting Kuferyouba on Monday in the Prince Hamzeh Hall at 6pm, while Nojoom Ordon will play Reyadi in the second match at 7.30pm.
On Tuesday, Ahli will meet Jubaiha, while Wehdat and Orthodox Club clash, also in Prince Hamzeh Hall.
The eight teams will vie for six places that will make up the first division.
