JORDAN OPENS REFUGEE TAEKWONDO ACADEMY

The President of World Taekwondo, Dr. Choue Chungwon, has inaugurated the Taekwondo Academy at Al Azraq Refugee Camp in the north of the Kingdom.

The joint venture between the international federation, Jordan Olympic Committee and the Jordan Taekwondo Federation will provide opportunities for Syrian refugees.

During his visit, Dr. Chungwon praised the project which will allow young refugees to practice Taekwondo and benefit from its values.

HRH Prince Rashed, the President of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation, pointed out that his Federation is working hard to empower all youth, and over 80 kids from both genders will train at the academy under the supervision of coach Asef Subah.
