WEIGHTLIFTING MEDALS AT WEST ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan has won a healthy six medals at the West Asian Weightlifting Championships taking place in Bahrain.
Hamzeh Al Ajarmeh took silver in the 56kg snatch after lifting 60kg, and then silver in the clean and jerk after lifting 76kg.
He took silver overall with a combined lift of 136kg.
His teammate, Omar Al Zubi, took three bronze medals in the 50kg category with a snatch of 52kg and clean and jerk of 57kg. Meanwhile, Adel Al Aboudi finished fourth in the 62kg.
Next up for Jordan is Khaled Al Abbudi and Malik Faed.
