ARAB GOLD FOR TEAM JORDAN IN FENCING

Jordan’s junior fencing team won three medals, including a sought after gold, in the Arab Juniors Fencing Championship held in Al Hussein Sports City.

The female team of Balqees Al Qudah, Leen Kloub, Petra Assaf and Haneen Al Nawasrah took gold for the Epee weapon, after comfortably defeating Palestine in the final 45/26.

The team of Ftoon Al Taweel, Areej abu Dyah, Rahaf Haboub and Ru’a Al Majali lost the female Cadet final of the Epee category 45-35 to the UAE, settling for silver.

Meanwile, the male juniors team of Zeid Haddad, Ahmad Abu Taha, Laith Al Zubaidi and Omar Al Kash’ah won bronze in the Foil section.
