JOC, OPTIKOS SHAMI KEEPING AN EYE ON ATHLETE WELLBEING

The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has signed a partnership memo with Optikos Shami Enhancing Health Medical Labs to look after the eyesight of Jordan’s elite athletes.
The agreement will further improve the wellbeing of athletes, a core value of the JOC’s strategic plan.
JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, and Omar Shami, General Manager of Shami, signed the agreement at the Olympic Preparation Centre (OPC) in Amman.
Optikos Shami will be the Official Eye Test Partner for the JOC in 2018, and Majali expressed his happiness to have them on board.
“This Partnership will further improve the wellbeing of our athletes and ensure they are receiving the very best eye treatment,” said Majali.
“We are delighted to welcome Optikos Shami to the Jordan sporting family and look forward to working with them.”
Shami added that the company was delighted to be on board and said: “We are so happy to be able to serve our athletes who represent our country.
We will provide the best service to our champions.”
