PAIR QUALIFY TO TENNIS QUARTER-FINALS

Musa Qutub and Hamzeh Al Aswad have carried the Jordan flag through to the quarter finals of the Amman International Tennis Championships men’s singles being held in Al Hussein Sport City.

Qutub beat Egypt’s Mohammad Jum’aa in a three-hour marathon match while Al Aswad advanced after Egypt’s Abdullah Fu’ad was forced to withdraw.
