SILVER FOR JORDAN IN SQUASH

Jordan’s u13 squash team finished with a silver medal at the Arab Squash Championship held in Amman.

The youngsters made it through to the final but found favourites Egypt a tough proposition, losing the gold medal match 3-0.

Meanwhile, the U17 team will try their luck against Egypt in their final after beating Kuwait 3-0 in the semi final. Iraq will play Kuwait for the bronze medal.

The championship is scheduled to finish Wednesday when Asian Khalifah from the Arab Squash Federation will attend an awards ceremony.
