RUMTHA DROP POINTS IN AQABA
Feb 01, 2018
Rumtha’s hopes of putting pressure on table toppers Wehdat took a blow when they could only manage a point in Aqaba.
The point is enough to put them on top, but the northern club know that the 2-2 draw is two points dropped.
Mohammad Shukan put Rumtha ahead in the 36th minute, but Ahmad Abu Najelah levelled four minutes later.
Aqaba then took the lead on the stroke of half time through Rabe Mohammad, before Ahmad Al Dwni levelled for the visitors in injury time.
Wehdat are hoping to go back on top when they face Shabab Ordon on Friday at the King Abdullah Stadium.
Meanwhile, Ahli and That Rass remain mid table following their 0-0 draw.
