JORDAN SET FOR ARAB WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP

Jordan has sent a strong team of four clubs to the 4th Women’s Arab Club Championships being held in Sharjah, UAE, until February 12.
Jordan will be represented by Al Jawad Equestrian Club, Al Fuhais Basketball Club, Mu'tah Table Tennis Club and Nibukan Karate Club.
Among the team’s star players is horse jumper Sara Al Armouti who has already secured her place at the Youth Olympic Games that will be held in Argentina this summer.
Sewar Abu Yemen, Taima' Abu Yemen, Bara'a Al Wedyan and Tina Khuri will represent the Mu'tah Table Tennis Club, while Huda Jaber, Fatimah Al Shawabkeh and Eseil Khattab will compete in Karate. Basketball has sent a strong squad including Rubi Habash, Evon Kweik, Rasha Abdoh, Farah Al Sheiab, Farah Abu Abed, Ayah Al Qur'an, Lilian Abu Jubarah, Sara Abbasi and Tala Shahateet.
