INDIA CALLING FOR BOXERS

Jordan’s top boxers have arrived in India where they will take part in the inaugural India Open International Boxing Championship that will be held in New Delhi from January 28-February 1.
The Kingdom’s strong team includes Olympians Hussein Ishiash (+91kg) and Obadah Al Kesbeh (64kg) as well as Mohammad Al Wadi (56kg), Ziad Ishiash (69kg), Ali Al Hindi (75kg) and Reem Al Shammari who will compete in the women’s 51kg category.
The team will be managed by Salah Madi as Chef De Mission and with Ezzeldien Aqqoun taking up the coaching duties.
The event is expected to welcome 25 countries including Cuba, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia with $100,000 in prize money available.
