TAEKWONDO LAUNCH KINGDOM CHAMPIONSHIP

The first day of the National Taekwondo Championships produced some thrilling action at the Prince Rashid Hall in Al Hussein Youth City on Friday.
The tournament, organised by the Jordan Taekwondo Federation, is being held as a shop window for potential talent to prove themselves in front of the national team selectors.
The winners of the various weight categories this weekend will form a back-up to the national team which is preparing for the Bulgaria Open Taekwondo Championships in March.
That team already includes Ahmad Abu Ghaush, Saleh Al Sharbati, Anas Adarbeh, Ruslan Libzo, Hamzeh Qattan, Juliana Al Sadeq and Bana Daraghmeh.
