SPORTING SCHOOL LAUNCHES WINTER CLUB

A programme created by a collaboration between the Jordan Olympic Committee and the German Corporation for International Cooperation, has launched a winter initiative.
The Sporting School Winter Club will provide opportunities for children to participate in sport throughout the colder weeks, following on from the successful initial launch to the initiative in October.
The Winter Club will continue for the next three weeks, and ensure the kids who participated already can continue their sports participation before phase two of the programme begins next month.
The Sporting School aims to increase the number of students who participate in Athletics and Volleyball, with other sports to be added in the future.
The programme has engaged with 100 boys and girls from Dukan Al Hindawi and Umm Habeibah schools and students are provided with uniforms along with food before and after the training sessions, which are carried out by qualified coaches from the sports involved.
