SHERGO LEADS ARAB GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS

Jordan’s rising Golf star Shergo Kurdi is leading after the first day of the U18 Arab Golf Championships taking place in Tunisia.
Kurdi shot a super opening day round to top the leaderboard ahead of the host country’s Mahdi Bin Haleemeh with two more rounds to play.
Jordan has sent a strong team to North Africa including Musa Shana'ah and Hamzeh Sleiman who are competing in the U15 competition.
The event has welcomed players from 10 Arab countries including UAE, Lebanon, Bahrain, Egypt, Qatar, Oman, Somalia, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
