KICKBOXERS THROUGH TO WORLD SEMIS

Kickboxers Oday Abu Hassweh and Ali Khalaf have reached the semi-finals of the World Kickboxing Championships taking place in Budapest, Hungary.

Abu Hassweh qualified to the last four of the 63kg weight after beating Murad Azerbeve of Belarus, 2-1.

Earlier he beat Canada’s Brandon Leman, 3-0, and is set to face Russia’s Erliiar Afonen on Friday.

Teammate Ali Khalaf secured his semi-final place after beating Bulgaria's Koshkov Tsfozar, 3-0, in quarter-final of the -75kg category. He will now meet the UK's Deon Barite in tomorrow’s semi-final.
