Nov 07, 2017
The Jordan Olympic Committee’s tireless work in combatting drugs in sport has continued with a workshop organised in Amman this week.
Held under the patronage of the JOC Secretary General, Nasser Majali, Jordan Anti-Doping Organisation (JADO) held the event for sports federations to ensure they are well aware of the latest developments in anti-doping.
The JOC works hand in hand with JADO to ensure Jordan sport is organsed on a level playing field, and the work was praised by Majali during his opening address.
National Sports Federations have also stepped up their efforts to eliminate drugs from sport by educating their athletes and coaches about the long-term health effects it has.
The president of JADO, Dr. Kamal Al Hadidi, urged the Federations to continue their good work and to keep testing their athletes as well as providing more education and advice.
