DOUBLE ARAB ATHLETICS BRONZE FOR AL QADI

Jordan is celebrating a double bronze success for one of its up and comers at the 6th Arab Junior Athletics Championships in Tunisia.
Nour Al Qadi, who turns 17 this weekend, took bronze in the long jump with 5.30m, and followed that up with a new Jordan junior record in the high jump of 1.54m for her second bronze of the day.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Abu Zeinah missed out in the 100m after he crossed the line in 11.3 seconds.
Thirteen Arab countries including Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Sudan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Qatar, Tunisia and Jordan are taking part.
There is more to come from Jordan with Asian junior gold medallist Shareif Al Atawneh (3000m), Aliya Bushnaq (200m,400m and Relay), Yara Al Khateeb (Triple Jump, 100m hurdles), Al Anoud Al Dabbas (Long Jump, Triple Jump and Relay) all set to compete over the coming days.
