KARATE OFF TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

 Jordan has sent a strong team to participate in the 10th World Karate Championship to be held in Tenerife, Spain, from October 25-29.

The squad:

U21: Mohammad Fahed 60kg, Nabeel Al Shwiki 67kg, Ahmad Shdeed -84kg and Females Majedah Al Bashayreh -55kg, Aseel Al Nu'aimi -61kg and Hala Turaish -68kg.

Youths:

Mohammad Al Musa -55kg, Omar Al Najjar -61kg, Ali Esma'el 76kg and Nirmin Turaish -48kg.

Juniors:

Abdullah Hammad -57kg, Nasser Nasser -63kg, Yazan Al Weher -70kg, Saleh Al Sawalha +70kg.

The team will be headed by Mueen Fa'uri as Chef de Mission with Dr. Mkhled Mshawish (Administrative), Ibrahim Abu Al Edah (Head Coach), Nael Oaimer (Coach) in support.

The event will welcome over 1,700 athletes from 109 countries.
