JORDAN WIN GROUP A IN ARAB RUGBY 7s

• Morocco lead Group B and set for UAE

• Jordan to meet Egypt in the next round

Hosts Jordan have won Group A at the Arab Rugby 7s to face Egypt in the knock stages on Saturday.

After opening with a 24-19 win over Libya, Jordan beat favourites UAE 20-5 in a superb performance before completing their day with a shock 14-12 loss to Iraq.

Morocco won group B with three stunning wins over Palestine, Lebanon and Egypt. Morocco beat Palestine 59-5, Lebanon 31-14 and Egypt 28-0 to win the group with Egypt second. Saturday matches:
